Our doors are designed and manufactured here in Silchester to your exact specification and requirements. We offer our doors in a range of colours, and all are finished to a high-quality standard. Our surveyor will provide you with samples so that you can colour match to your windows and front door.
The first step is to contact us to arrange an appointment for a Survey. Depending on availability, an appointment slot can be arranged between 7 am and 7 pm
The Surveyor will only need access to your garage and will not need to come into your house.
The Surveyor will examine the garage layout, take measurements and explain the optimal position and fit for the door.
The surveyor will explain what options are available, colours, safety edge, auto control option, Alarm etc. to help you choose what is right for you.
PRICES WILL BE MADE CLEAR AT THE TIME OF THE SURVEY AND THERE WILL BE NO HIDDEN COSTS
The surveyor will give you time to think about all you have been told and you will not be pressurised into having one of our doors. It is perfectly acceptable to tell the Surveyor that you need time to consider the purchase and we will therefore stand by and await your instructions.
If you do decide to go ahead and place an order the surveyor will complete an order form detailing exactly what is being provided and the exact cost.
The Surveyor will arrange a convenient date for your new door to be fitted.
Finally, since all of our doors are hand made to your exact requirements the Surveyor will take the final measurements necessary to build the door.

WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG
In the unlikely event that you encounter of defect with your door please DON’T PANIC
Remember you have a two-year warranty on all components that make up your door, unlike some of our competitors who only guarantee the motor.
The first thing to do is to call us on 07864052066 and we will respond as soon as possible. Because we only supply to our local area we are never far away, so it wont be long before we can get to you.
We will advise you on how to secure the door until we can get there and ask you to provide us with as much detail as possible so that our staff can diagnose and rectify the problem as quickly as possible.
DO NOT TRY TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM YOURSELF AS THIS MAY ENDANGER YOUR SAFETY AND INVALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY
Please be advised that repeated operation of the door of a short period may cause the Thermal Cut-Out to activate. The Thermal Cut-Out prevents the motor from overheating and becoming damaged. If this happens the door will cease to operate electrically but will still be able to be opened or closed via the use of the manual crank handle. After 10 – 15 minutes depending on the ambient air temperature the motor will have cooled down and the door will then operate as normal.
Here at Compact Garage Doors Ltd we are very fond of our doors and don’t like to see them get damaged, so please BE CAREFUL when backing the car up to them or indulging in any vigorous activities with sharp metal objects within their vicinity.
However, we do know that “stuff happens” especially when the grand children are around and so we are here to help.
Because we manufacture the doors there isn’t anything that we cannot repair or replace and because you won’t have to wait weeks for components to be delivered, we can get your door back up and running in no time at all.
